A few of my friends from back in the day now live in FLA and transfered to Aquinas, if Young continues to show interest in comming north I will check with them and probably should be able to get some updates. It's a little early in the game at this point to start bothering them about it already.

From the UGA site...Young most recently received offers from Auburn, North Carolina and Oklahoma, to go along with offers from Duke, Florida and Miami (FL). Georgia, Florida State and Ohio State are supposedly close to offering. Being from Pittsburgh originally, Sam has expressed some interest in returning to the Midwest to play college football. Michigan is also in the picture.

Sam is ranked #4 on the FlaVarsity top 50 list.

His top 5 is... PSU, ND, Michigan, Miami. and Florida. A few Miami fans on Miami messageboards have said he is Michigan's to lose- although I am not sure if I a believe it. He is from PA, and said that he wants to play in the cold.

His most recent update says he would like to play in the Midwest, but he is going to visit the southern schools as well. Michigan has offered, along with his other childhood favorites, Miami and Penn State. he has camped at OSU before and plans to again this year. I think OSU has a legit shot if they offer soon, as reported above.

From Scout.com...Sam visited Florida this past weekend. He grew up a fan of Penn State. He has unofficially visited Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, Miami, Florida, Duke, and North Carolina (all offered). He would also like to visit some schools out West.

We seem to be offering an awful lot of OT's early (Brown, Conner, Young), thoughwe seem to be thinner at OG/C, imo. Anybody other than Boren being offered as na interior linemen being offered early?

Oh, and for the record, Young does look like a stud and I would be thrilled if he wore the S&G in Columbus... just in case you guys thought I was getting a bit off track.

Great looking run blocker, but I didn't see a single pass play on that Sunshine Prep video. His video reminds me of Connor Smith's. He must have put on some weight since his junior season, though, bewcause I strongly doubt thathe weighed 290 based on his pictures.
