'06 FL WR Greg Mathews (Michigan signee)

Supposedly Mathews still has some work to do on his academics and if this is true then he will most likely choose Michigan.
Mathews would be wise to chose a school he could for sure gain acceptance to rather the tOSU where he might become an academic casuality.

I was indeed quoting from the freeboard at BN. I don't have a premium subscription:)

Come to think of it, posting info from the free board should not be allowed here either. Loose too many brain cells that way.

There are lots of "games" being played by all sides. The only strait story is going to be the one that happens on NLI day. Till then, I am taking it all with a grain of salt the size of Mount Rushmore.

I still am betting my $ on the Bucks. Hey...this would make a nice Gwaltnyesque V-bet in this time of boredom.

I'm agreeing with HundedLane that he's holding out just so he can announce on NLOID for some extra attention. We're 10 days out from NLOID and I have to think he already knows in his mind where he's going...

He is over at FSU this weekend.

If he had better grades, it would have gone a lot better for him. OSU did not give him as much attention as he thought he should get from them in the start of the recruiting season. If Hazell would have felt comfortable earlier, I think he would have had an offer and verballed to OSU.

But here we are, I am fairly sure he will sign a LOI, against advice and be commited to someone. He is going to be a late qualifier. It's comming down to how well he does in the extra classes he is taking.

We really thought the meeting was going to go better, then go off to a basketball game. But the grades he said he was going to get, weren't there.

He is concerned that if he does commit to OSU, he won't get through admissions. He takes his test again on the 28th, I think he will see how well he feels he did on it, then make a decission.

Thanks for the info. HH. I REALLY want this kid in the S&G. Is it true that the staff had Greg higher on their board then Ausberry? I've been hearing comparisons to Mike Williams of USC. He would be a huge coup for the program.
