UGa Rivals - 10/30/05

Carlos led his team (Heard County) to its first ever Region 4-AA title by beating Jackson High 44-22. Brown had 17 carries for 197 yards and 4 TD's from his QB position (his team had 472 yards rushing); on defense, he played safety where he had several tackles and passes defensed; and on special teams, he recovered an on-side kick.

Carlos went to the GT/Clemson game this past weekend and spoke at length with Coach Gailey. He will take his official visits after the season. Florida State, Georgia, and Michigan will get visits for sure.

From the Michigan site...Carlos' coach talks about his upcoming visit to Michigan this weekend and about his senior season and his potential. He has also visited FSU and Georgia and has backed off his comment about FSU being out in front. Georgia Tech, Tennessee, South Carolina and Ohio State are also in the mix.

Brown's season ended this past week at 10-2. He finished the year with 1512 yards and 21 touchdowns.

Adding Brown to this class with Henton would be huge. Georgia is an underrated state for talent. It never hurts to open the pipeline into a state that loves its football.

Carlos rated his Michigan official visit a nine; he was hosted by Mike Hart.

Carlos has already visited Florida State and Michigan, and will visit South Carolina on December 2nd, and Georgia on December 9th.

Personal take: Ohio State is probably out of the running, as Carlos has only one visit unaccounted for, and he is already scheduled to visit other schools during Ohio State's big recruiting weekends in early December. I guess that we'll just have to settle for Chris Wells....

UGa Rivals - 11/29/05

Carlos has official visits scheduled to South Carolina (December 2nd) and Georgia (December 9th); he is still deciding on which school will get his fifth and final visit, and Ohio State is still a possibility. Carlos will graduaute early and announce his college choice around December 20th.

Brown's final stats: 1,512 yards rushing, 541 yards passing, 29 total touchdowns, 81 tackles, 4 interceptions.
