Walker is listing Marquette, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Wake Forest, Michigan, Oklahoma State, and N.C. State; tOSU has offered and they have been consistently at his games and talking to his coach. Georgia Tech is his leader at this point, he is unsure of his visits, but tOSU is a possibility.

He is averaging around 19 ppg and his team is (18-1).

From the Illinois site...as of right now Walker favors Georgia Tech, Illinois, and Marquette. He has offers from Marquette, Ohio St., Baylor and California. Illinois has told them they are really intersted in him.

bn44820 - it looks like you can go ahead and add and offer to the title of this thread.

Point Guard Willie Walker Talks about Future Plans
By Kedric Prince Publisher
Date: May 5, 2005

Romeoville, Illinois point guard Willie Walker spoke with Kedric Prince about what schools have offered and who he likes. Walker’s stock is rising each weekend he plays. Read the details here.

Walker says he has been offered by Ohio State, North Carolina State and Miami (FL). He likes Illinois but they have not offered and that bothers him. Walker briefly says that right now its hard to turn down Ohio State with the possible recruiting class and he has talked to Oden and Conley about him coming to OSU.
He feels OSU will be tough to beat if they get all of the recruits they are targeting. (This is the Illini board and they are talking about OSU!)

I wonder how hard we are pursuing Walker given the likelihood that we sign Conley. Having another top 100 player in the 2006 class certainly can't hurt, but I also wonder if we are ever going to go after someone like Raymar Morgan with an offer.

To me, one of the most interesting things about the article was when Walker said he talked to Conley and Oden "about me coming there (OSU)."

wadc....my impression is from the article is that Walker thinks its a done deal that Oden and Conley are OSU bound.

I have heard that Walker is a back-up plan in case Conley decides to go to Wake, no offense to Walker he is a great prospect also.

From the NC State site...Will has an offer from NC State, to go with offers from Marquette, Ohio State (?), Baylor, California and Miami. He lists his top 3 as NC State, Miami, and OSU. He is a little upset that Illinois has not offered.

Will Walker just had his options sliced in half - as two of his four remaining schools basically took themselves out of the running. Don't feel bad for the Bolingbrook (Ill.) High floor leader, though, because he's got a pair of quality options.

DePaul and Michigan are his final two teams....
