'06 MD CB A.J. Wallace (Penn State signee)

The Kid is having some fun.... I think he has handled the recruitng process pretty well really. Good to luck to him no matter where he goes.

i wasnt trying to bash the kid. I just dont get why he would say he is down to two schools and than suddenly turn around and say that he is bringing four hats and has yet to make up his mind. I wish he would come to Ohio State but if things dont turn out for us, I wish him the best at Penn State(which is where I believe he ends up)

Comments not geared at you at all.. Sorry if you took it that way.

I thought it was kind of harsh when sgarletandgrey was disappointed in him for bringing 4 hats with him to announce.

What Stanley McGlover did was disappointing... Not have some fun and enjoying the lime light a little bit IMHO.

Its disappointing that hes simply trying to get the most attention he can, thats all im saying. I would much rather have a kid like Wells of Scwarthz that wants to be a buckeye, and doesnt play any games and is a straight shooter. I would love to see AJ in S & G, but like I said, kids that dont play the recruiting game will always be my favorites.

Exactly what I was thinking. Im disappointed that this kid is doing all of that, hes just trying to get all the attention that he can get. Very disappointing, and it shows what he cares about.

B) I could not disagree with you more...the kid is getting a chance to be in the spotlight. Were you upset when Mo Wells waited until the AA game to put on an OSU hat last year? Of course not. Wallace isn't doing anything that Mo Wells didn't do when he went to San Antonio last year. The only difference is that most of us already knew that Mo was going to pull out a OSU hat and so we sat by with anticipation, enjoying the thought of seeing Wells and his family celebrate his decision to be a Buckeye. Wallace isn't doing anything different but many people want to vilify his actions because they are concerned he is not going to choose OSU.

Rivals $

1/4/06

According to Mike Farrell AJ has been showing why he is Rivals #1 rated CB in the nation.

Do most feel that PSU's season this year will turn out be an aberration as opposed to them returning to prominence?

In my opinion, it is an aberration. While i dont see them returning to the 3-4 win seasons they have had recently, i dont envision them being ranked #3 again anytime soon.

If AJ is indeed going to PSU, i wish him luck on a personal level and plan on him being very disappointed in Columbus on 9/23/06.

First, everybody take one of these...

I heard from a friend who is a fan of a different school and who follows recruiting very closely that AJ will be a Buckeye.

Again, let me state this: osugrad21's info + OSUBucks22's info + unionfutura's info > BN27's

Just something to hope for

As I've said before, I hope he changes his mind. I've told various folks in PMs that he reminds me of past recruits we've obsessed over...the guys who LOVE the recruiting process. That type of recruit can switch favorites in a heartbeat. I don't see anything wrong with that and I am not insinuating as much. However, with Ginn Sr. at the AA game and tOSU leveling ND with a wide open offense, its not difficult for me to see him switching at the last minute.

However, I'm not counting on it..
