Defensive tackle
Warren G. Harding
Height: 6' 1"
Weight: 265 lbs

Antonio is one of Duane Long's top two 2006 DT prospects from the state of Ohio. Although he is a bit light, he stops the run well. Antonio favors Ohio State and Michigan.

I'm not too sure if I'd call 265 "light" for a high school DL, especially at 6'1". I wonder what his 40 is, or at least how quick he is.
from duane's perspective 265 is rail thin though.

i've see reed play twice, but not last year. he looked like he had some good potential but it was too early to tell if he was going to work for it or not. i heard he was allright last year too so things are sounding good.

Antonio is currently 6'1, 295 pounds

Tony is a nice DT who opens things up for everybody on defense. He is constantly double teamed (even St. Eds double teamed him) and even when he doesn't make tackles, he forces a lot of bad throws/INTs. Tony is a UM fan, but he favors Virginia over them as of right now. FWIW, he is related to the late Korey Stringer.

Here is a link to Buckeyeplanet's free video reel of Tony Reed:

I was very impressed from what I saw on the film. I would like to hear what you guys think of him. Could he be the first offered in state DT?

Special thanks to Sunshinepreps as they are holding it down getting up a ton of free video coverage. Shortly we will take a first look at '07 OH RB "Boom" Herron, and all the defensive prospects David Harsch, Sidney Glover, and Marlin Parker.....
