'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

Anything could happen on the 6th. If the Browns' allow the smoke to clear, he'll come north for the next 4-5 years. There is no way he gets on the field as a starter until at least his junior year at ND or VT. If he gets lost in the shuffle out of state, he may not get quite the same opportunity to re-surface as he will at OSU...just my opinion.

Go Bucks!

Odd, my ND friend tells me they have a major shortage at OL.

Odd, my ND friend tells me they have a major shortage at OL.

Notre Dame's depth chart is misleading. They have a bunch of seniors on the O-line, but ND doesn't recognize red-shirts, and some of those seniors have 1 year remaining.

Btw, the Brown's are crazy if they really believe Aaron will walk in and be a 3 years and done player at any of his top choices. I've seen him play, and he is not even CLOSE to being college-ready right now; he's a great athlete with a lot of potential, and I hope he chooses OSU, but this is NOT Orlando Pace.

I'd almost as soon let him go to Va Tech and focus on Josh Oglesby for 07'...

VA Tech starts 3 Sr.'s on the O-Line, and has signed 2 OL this year already, one being OT prospect Clark Crum. they are also the favorites to land 2 other OL besides Brown, one being Alex Stadler who is 6-6, 305, who has an impressive offer sheet that includes Alabama, FSU, scUM, Notre Dame, and NC State. they also have 7 Tackles on the roster, only 2 of which are Seniors (one is the starter).
(Read my post Brown Family!)
