'06 OH OL/DT Aaron Brown (Virginia Tech Signee)

I believe he'll stay home. Kids are going to get wooed but I think Brown is one of the Ohio OL who we don't have to worry about so much. Having already locked up C. Wells can't hurt our chances. Hopefully he and Homan are working the phones.

Aaron Brown "impressed" with Louisville
</TD></TR><TR><TD align=middle></TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top>With 21 written scholarship offers already in hand, offensive lineman Aaron Brown will be able to search for that perfect school and program for him to continue his football career. The Cincinnati Princeton High School junior made an unofficial visit to Louisville on Sunday and left the River City impressed.

Aaron's father was very impressed with the facilities and the coaching staff. He indicated that they would be back to Louisville for the spring game or a practice. As of Tuesday, Brown had received 21 written offers, which includes Louisville, Syracuse, Purdue, Ohio State, LSU, Michigan, Auburn, Florida State, Cincinnati, Alabama and others.

The drones at BN are laughable on this one.

The new theory is that Aaron's father George is simply calling these recruiting services to give them updates in an attempt to pimp his son and increase his recruiting stock. This is the case because a few of them think he doesnt look good in the videos on scout, despite the fact that Chris Pool has said that he is the best looking OL in Ohio ahead of Boren.

What a joke that board is sometimes.

Steele, both comments that had a negative slant about AB's Father were posted by scUM trolls---"the sportsking" and "columbusblue"

I honestly didnt pay attention to who the posters were. It wouldnt surprise me coming from either osu or ttun fans knowing some of the fools that post there. i can definately see why ttun fans would make such comments, being that every team in the country is in on this kid and he is going to be big time, and they arent in the picture. so he therefore must be a product of hype and not talent.

Guys, everyone is responsible for their own words, but this thread is for Aaron Brown.

We need to make an honest effort as a community to move past the unnecessary criticism of other sites. This place has made its mark and we are above that.

From the Nebraska site...Aaron has received offers from Nebraska and Oklahoma. For being an article from the Nebraska site, it is particularly pro-OSU. His father talks a little bit about what makes OSU the early favorite.

i agree. and his father is quite objective when speaking with various sites so as to not give any leanings, so the article surprised me a bit.

bottom line is that he's got offers from everywhere, he'll take visits to check stuff out, and he'll commit to osu.
