Looks like he is put together nicely at 6'7 280.:osu2:
I agree!! Holy crap next years OL class in OH is turning out to be stellar. No wonder they werent worried about only taking 2 guys.

Now all we have to do is be ready for the barrage of posts saying why arent we taking 6 OLs from OH, we need to keep them in state. Blah, blah, blah....

With the abundance of OL talent here in the state this recruiting season, you have to wonder if any of these kids would have got offers & accepted last year. I would love to split this OL class in half, but you can't make seniors juniors....not sensibly anyhow.

With three early offers out solely to Ohio boys, you have to wonder eventually how many more might get one. If Smith, Brown & Boren commit....I still think we take one more. Palmer should be right up there with the top of that list.

Take 4 if worthy

With O-linemen being so hard to evaluate for the next level, OSU should take four. We only took 2 last year, and OL is the last piece of the puzzle for this team. Really, could OSU make more use of a Rivals 100-150 O-lineman or a Rivals 100-150 Safety? To me, this is a no-brainer.

If you could take UM's O-line + QB and combine them with the rest of OSU's team, you have a run at the MNC each year.

UM invests about 4 guys per year to have that O-line, however. It is their philosophy.

By Chris Nida...Ryan is hearing from Ohio State, Michigan, Purdue, Indiana and Cincinnati among others. He has been to junior days at OSU and Michigan. He plans to take all his visits, but does favor the Buckeyes.

I like this kid and think he ends up at OSU...here's why:

He appears to be just behind the big 3(Brown, Smith, Boren) with the Tilley/Crum group. I think OSU ends up with 2 of the big 3(B & B)...I think Palmer is the best of the next group and if offered he seems like he wants to be in Columbus.
That makes 3 of the 4 OL I think OSU will pull in this year...I think OSU will take a long look at camp, game film, and exploring OOS possibilities before coming back to Tilley, Crum, or anyone else who emerges in Ohio.
