Lee Tilley
Offensive tackle
Springfield South
Height: 6-foot-7
Weight: 295 pounds
40-yard dash: 5 seconds
Bench max: 250 pounds
Squat max: 375 pounds
Video:HERE

Lee favors Ohio State over Notre Dame, Cincinnati, and Miami of Ohio, but has no offers at this point. He seems to be a big, raw prospect in the "sleeper" category, and will be one to watch during his senior season.

Lee is a teammate of '06 DE recruit Lamar Mapp.

From the Duke Rivals site...the article lists Lee at 6-7 312 lbs. with a 5.09 40, a 325 bench max, and 525 squat max. Duke is interested in both Lee and this teammate, QB Brennen Glass. Purdue, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Cincinnati, Maryland, Kentucky and Boston College are also showing interest. No mention of OSU.

From the Purdue site...Lee visited Purdue last weekend. He is hearing the most from Purdue, Michigan State, Notre Dame and Cincinnati. Brennen Glass also attended the Junior Day at Purdue. Lee has no offers as of yet.

Very good point about the OL situation last year. Let's not forget Ryan Palmer either. I think we are in good position w/ Brown and Boren. I'm not too sure about Smith, although i know that there were info that he was leaning towards OSU. Lee might be the toughest to land. As things are shaping up now, I defintely see us taking 4 OLM.

Looks like a very interesting prospect. Size, quick feet, strength, long reach. Not to be too glowing - but he even has that "Pace" look to him right now.
Does come from one of the smaller schools in the GWOC where Centerville dominates. Though that's not a knock against him, it might help explain why he was under the radar for some major programs till recently. One of a handful of Yr 11 players named to GWOC All-Conference team. http://www.gwocsports.com/images/Football_AllConf_GWOC_2004.pdf
Whether he is listed _now_ as an ND lean or has Georgia or UC offers I'd be interested if it was merely a matter of number of OL that tOSU can take that prevents an offer being presented.

JT and his staff have shown they can evalute OL talent and get some of the very best. With all the great OL talent this year, we are going to get our share while at the same time have a lot of great OL go elsewhere. There is simply too much great talent this year for us to get everyone. We just need to get the best, and if Tilley and others aren't in the top 4-5 OL in the state, then no biggie.

Well it seems that Georgia thinks of him as the Top Lineman in Ohio. You would have thought with all the offers Brown has received that UGA would have offered by now.
Or Smith or Boren for that matter.

I think Duane Long may have missed something in Tilley. Georgia is one of the top prgrams in the nation yr in and yr out. They do not take stiffs. They take 4 and 5 star players. Especially early offers.

Who knows. No matter his height, the kid must be a heck of a player. This could be one that come back to bite us in a BCS game. It tOSU is not careful.

grades must not be too much of a concern. Kansas is a big time academic school.
