'06 OH OT Lee Tilley (Auburn Verbal Commitment)

if an offer to tilley is on the way does that mean that the staffs confidence in landing "the big 3" is waning?

I would not be surprised to see us take 4-5 OL this year. Keep in mind we only took 2 OL last year...we have plenty of room.

If tOSU extends an offer will there be interest from Lee? Does anyone know, especially EXBEARCAT?
This is the first I have heard of anything. I am still catching up on the past weeks news. So I don't know. But I assure you I will wear my OSU hat to the Springfield South Football Games this Fall.

Ohio Kids should stay in Ohio.

Re: Lee Tilley - Ohio OL Gets Florida Offer - www.scout.com <HR SIZE=1>There are two Cincinnati, Ohio o-lineman that will mostly likely be at least 4 star recruits, Aaron Brown, and Conner Smith.

Smith looks to be a michigan - osu battle

Brown has UF listed as a favorite (along with like 5 other schools)

EXBEARCAT = internet plague. We are going to get a bad vibe for Mr. Tilley with his "ambassador" running all over the web for him. I would choose not to have a sour taste in my mouth for the respectable Lee Tilley.
I don't see any problem in EXB's comments...he is entitled to an opinion. I fully expect him to favor a player with which he has a personal relationship

lalala.....

I am a fan of the Springfield South Wildcats, and let me tell you about Lee Tilley....

I am only posting things I believe, from what I saw with him playing. He is a great player, who I have enjoyed watching and develope for the past couple of years. It makes me proud to see a local kid do as well as has done. And I do feel he is one of the top 2 OL in the State. Smith is a great player, as is Brown and Boren, but I feel Tilley provides more potential than all due to his rawness, and lack of expierence. Plus he is a True Left Tackle.

I have never made any bones about who I thought was better. Its just my opinion, and I am sorry it does not flow with everyone else's.

Guess what, I really like Lamar Mapp, Brennen Glass, EJ Jones, and Vincent Corner as well. All Springfield Kids!

So I guess I do have a relationship with these kids. They are from my town.
And I do want at least one of them to go to OSU. That would be really neat to watch a kid go from high school to a big time college. Not to mention, to one of my favorite teams.
