I think Ferentz is very smart for taking every shot at landing kids from Glenville. It's obvious that OSU has something going with them besides location, and the Bucks have benefited greatly for doing so. However, we can't take 'em all, and with each prospect that we let go somewhere else, there will be the beginnings of a new precedent. "OSU hasn't offered? Come play with your other buddies!" To this point they have had a great amount of success (some very early..#7...) I don't think it could hurt Iowa or Wisconsin (D.Jones) to load up on as much Glenville talent as they can, in the hopes that one of their future superstars isn't really sold on OSU. Now, having said that, I'm not sure why they wouldn't be sold on OSU :) Or even that we should feel threatened by letting a few Tarblooders stand on the visitors sidelines in the 'Shoe. All I'm saying is that it can't hurt teams to get a foot in the door, and I think Ferentz and Alvarez realize that and both would agree with me.

IMHO the number of D-1 kids at Glenville is going to grow every year.
As we all know not all D-1 kids are OSU ( major powerhouse) recruits.
From watching Glenville play one game, and one game only last year, Jamo, Lennix, and Rose were the only kids who really took my breath away.

Many of these kids are going to have to take non OSU offers. If some of these kids go to other majors to only end up buried on the depth chart I don't think it will hurt us. Really, I hope Fred Davis hosts every Ohio kid who visits SC!
