did he go to a combine or camp and really turn heads or something? he has a good shot at the NFL though if he goes to miami. the MAC is known for their QB's and sending them to the next level.

Situation seems awfully similar to the Nate Szep situtation a few years ago where you have a St. Iggy QB who is getting pretty decent hype entering their senior season to not getting any DI offers and eventually going to a lower division...i figured one of the lesser MAC teams would have expressed enough interest to offer.
