While Lakota East shooting guard James Dews is busy touring with All-Ohio AAU, he's finding time to make some visits to some of the schools he is most interested. This past weekend, he made an unofficial trip to a Big East school, while he may be setting up two more official visits very shortly. Another scholarship offer, from a Big Ten school, has recently rolled in as well. A lot going on with James Dews' recruiting, what is the latest?

James Dews is hitting the visit trail. The Middletown (Ohio) Lakota East standout took his first visit last weekend and he’s got another one already in the works.

From the WVU site...the article talks about how WVU is recruiting Dews, Chichester, Mayo and Walker. Dews visited WVU on 5/13 and Seton Hall on 5/20. This weekend he is visiting Miami (FL). He plans to make a decision by the end of July.

Not much here concerning OSU...

Solid player, never a ton of mutual interest. Thought by many to be a sleeper.

Having a 6'2" gunner from Cincinnati (Robert Hite) talking to Dews about making the move down south probably helped the Hurricanes just a little bit. Hey, go make some noise down at "duh U." Miami is an ACC-school now, so it's a great move by Dews. They've got one of the top 10 players in the country coming in '07 to play point, Edwin Rios of Miami Senior.
