Aaron is a cousin of former Michigan Wolverine and current New England Patriot CB Ty Law; current Pitt Panther CB Josh Lay; and 2005 Penn State signee (and Gateway grad) CB Justin King (to whom he bears a striking resemblance). Aaron is a top prospect in the state of Pennsylvania for the class of 2006, and appears to be favoring Ohio State and Michigan at this early stage of the recruiting process; he also likes Penn State, Iowa, Indiana, Virginia, and West Virginia.

From the Pitt site...he is receiving interest from West Virginia, Boston College, Penn State, Maryland, Purdue, Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan. Pitt offered last week and ND has gotten involved as well.

From the WVU site...Smith is hearing from WVU, Pitt, Iowa, Michigan, Maryland, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Virginia. He has offers from Maryland, Iowa, Penn State, Virginia and WVU.

From the Penn State site...Smith enjoyed his trip last weekend to Maryland for their junior day. He has trips planned to Tennessee and Virginia Tech.
