Maddux claims offers from ND, PSU, Syracuse, MSU, Wisky, Miami, and Rutgers. He says he does not have a favorite, but was a Notre Dame fan growing up. He liked the gold helmets, and the irish mascot. 3 things Maddux is looking for in a school: playing time, how they graduate players, and the oppurtunity to be a BCS contender.

He received his first written offer from PSU on Tuesday. He has been told by 11 others that they will offer. He sees himself as a WR on the next level. He said playing time and academics would be a major factor in his decision, and that he will take all five of his official visits before making his decision. He measured 6-1 3/4 and 164 pounds at the AA combine.

lol korchiki thats pretty common imo, even in the transition from college to the pros. the best was how everyone hyped roy williams (texas) as this huge wr (6'4) w/ blazing speed, and although he's a great wr in the NFL, he only measured to 6'2. wonder where those two inches went?

From the ND site...Maddox has written offers from PSU and Rutgers and verbal offers from schools including Notre Dame, Florida, Florida State and Miami. He plans to camp at Penn State for the Nike Combine. He visited ND unofficially last summer. Again no mention of tOSU.

From the Michigan site...Maddox isn't even sure what position he wants to play in college, little alone at what school. He seems to be leaning more toward WR. Syracuse, Penn State, Rutgers, Duke and Michigan State have offered in writing.

From the Nebraska site...John has written offers from Louisville, Syracuse, Penn State, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Duke. Supposedly, Virginia, LSU, Florida, Miami, Michigan, Maryland, West Virginia, USC, and Oklahoma have verbally offered (last time I checked, USC never offers without seeing a kid in person, so I am not sure whether I believe his claim...anyways, I digress). He is not leaning to anyone right now, and he plans on camping at Penn State and the combine in New Jersey.
