Duane Long compared him to Antoine Winfield in the last Ohio High.
i never saw the kid play so i have no idea how good he is, but no way in hell does duane or any expert hype a kid to be the next antoine without having magazines and whatnot for sale.

pure hype, i hope it is true but i tend to doubt he is half the player as antoine (and half the player of antoine generally has a decent NFL career so no offense to chappell intended at all).

vg who are you comparin to?
never saw him play so i wouldn't comment. he is short like twan but i imagine that is where the comparison ends. i hope he is great like antoine but i highly doubt it.

winfield is a once in a lifetime package of no size and supreme hitting ability and blazing speed and amazing coverage ability and unreal skill at avoiding blocks and....

no corner ever has or ever will be a run stuffing corner like winfield. one of the best of all time and a future enshrinee.

send me 9 bucks a month though and i will tell you whatever you want to hear. just no gay stuff allright.

Not sure why I feel like I'm being criticized for passing along what I read, but I do. I think it's time I step back and let other more qualified people post on this recruiting board.

no criticizing intended at all, far from it actually. i just used the quote function to pull out the text. lazy to the bone baby.

i just hate how every player is the next so and so just because they are the same size, or speed, or from the same school or whatever. roy hall isn't the next david boston. chappell isn't the next antoine. chris wells isn't the next eddie. rudy kirbus isn't the next brian hoyer who wasn't the next dave ragone who wasn't the next joe pickens. throw in the fact that i don't have much respect for duane and i hope anyone can see where i am coming from (duane is basically the consensus of JJhuddle in my opinion; the guy probably hasn't been cut out of his house yet this decade to actually go see a high school game).

i totally appreciate any and all information you can pass along. you and 86 basically feed all my recruiting info addiction that i can't feed with my own eyes.

VG, that's some funny shit. That Massillon water must be your secret. Just how big is Duane anyways. 300 plus ???

400 minimum, he barely fit on the tv screen in a two shot. his rear took up at least 1/3 of the tv screen. seriously though, medically dangerous and that isn't funny.
Holly shit! Are you serious about the 400 minimum? I had no idea, but then again I've never seen him.
By the way I grew up in Northern Tuscarawas Co. I lived in Jackson before we moved to Tusc. and went to Lake Cable Elementary. Go Polar Bears!

'06 Running Backs

Please excuse me if there is an older post somewhere, but are there any top RB recruits for the 2006 class on the radar that's interested in OSU???

Does OSU have a chance at Chris Wells??

(NOTE: This was merged into this thread)

Thanks wdg01 & Mililani,
With all the questions still left in this '05 RB class, I was just wondering what the '06 class looked like. Ross Homan seems to be the most promising for OSU in form of interest level. I hope alot more show up on the radar in next years recruiting race.
