From the Florida site...Wright is from the same high school at Nate Salley and Anthony Reddick and Major's coach thinks he may end up being better than either of them. He is hearing from Michigan, Florida, Notre Dame, Miami, Ohio State, NC State, Ole Miss, Auburn, Purdue, Georgia and Tennessee, all of which have offered.

I am sure with the big 3 being on his list is his going to stay in the south, so I am not getting my hopes up.

But his film is amazing. It reminds me of JamO and his sophmore film from Mansfield. Major is a head hunter and he will knock your head off. He also plays the ball well when in the air, but he is SS safety all the way and coming up and helping against the run.

I have no problem with the offer, and obviously he's an exceptional talent, but does anybody think we're recruiting too many db's?

We already have Oliver, and we're likely to get Clifford, Evege and Torrence. How many more do we need?

It just seems odd we haven't been after more wide receivers and linemen (which are the most needed positions in the class)

Wright is a top 100 type you take him if you can get him.

Torrence and Clifford are athletes and they can play WR, CB, RB, S.

You have to remember how Tressel recruits power, big speed, and speed.

Wright is the kind of talent you find a spot for if he wants to come to your school...I am surprised that many of us are just finding out about him now. I had not seen any video on him and must have just passed right over his name on the top 100 lists. cbf40 is right...I tend not to get my hopes up about a player of this caliber who is from FL and listing the big 3, but like many before him, Major is taking things slowly and does not seem to favor any one school at this point. We may not have much of a chance of landing him right now, but if we can get him up here on an unofficial, that may slightly increase our chances.
