Colasanti has offers from Michigan State, Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan. Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Boston College have been in contact. Penn State, Michigan State, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Boston College are his top five.

With the wealth of talent that we are getting at LB this year and the numerous prospect in-state next year (Jermale Hines, Hoover and Sears from Louisville, Tabron from Canton CC, Ricardo Thompson, Matt Yarb, etc.), a LB prospect from out of state better pretty special to warrant an offer in the '07 class. Chris has some pretty impressive measurables. Hopefully we can get him down here for camp.

IMO you would have to include Dailey from Massillon in the LB category. I know some feel safety, but I look at his frame and see a stud LB...

From the ND site......Part of the interview is with Colasanti's high school coach. Notre Dame, Michigan, Penn State are just a few schools in contact. Colasanti has visited ND three times, Michigan State, Eastern Michigan and Central Michigan have offered. Mentions possibly attending camp at Ohio State this summer.

Video of Chris.

My Take: Aggressive player for sure and definitely delivers a shot. Personally, I was more impressed with him as a FB as he showed good versatility. He can be a solid LB but definitely needs polishing.

Chris holds offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Boston College and Stanford. He hopes to get an offer from PSU. Although he is receiving pressure to stay in-state, he will go to the school that best fits him.
