'07 OH LB Andrew Dailey (Penn State signee)

I saw that lakewood st ed // massillon game and he look like a big dustin fox

. He was all over with his speed and with his size growing into a LB he mught be another Hawk/carpenter type. He was really fast and in that game there were about 5 young players that all looked like stars to be

Yeah his coach has already said he will move to lb next year as that is will he will play at the next level.

Dailey was in Columbus on Sunday. I saw him at he Barnes and Noble bookstore on 11th and High. He was with a few family members, at least one of which was wearing an OSU shirt. Dailey was looking at OSU jerseys. I dont know if they bought anything but they were just looking at the apparel. He is a big solid kid who could def. add some pounds and be a good size Backer.

I saw Dailey at the MSU game. He was sitting a couple of seats away from Ted Ginn in the second half. He had to be impressed with the attention Teddy was getting from the fans. Ginn was signing autographs and taking pictures with kids during every time out. I have to believe Dailey was taking notice due to the fact that he was smiling and laughing every time a kid came up for an autograph.

so what is the official ruling...are there any restrictions on when players like TG are allowed to talk to recruits if they are not on official visits...and is there a set amount of unofficial visits a player can make...basically can a player keep getting free tickets to games if he pays his way here...(sorry if i rambled)

Has anyone seen him play? Ive read all the posts on him and if all those big time schools are interested he must be good. On a scale of 1 to 5 how good is he?

I watched Dailey all season and last season as well. You could tell he was going to be a special player his sophomore year becasue he was all over the field. IMO, his junior year he didn't make as big of a stride as I had expected, however, I think Dailey was playing out of position this whole season because Massillon could afford to have Dailey at safety. Dailey played his best when he was close to the line of scrimmage and was great on blitzing the QB. I think Andrew will be a monster at linebacker and I am hoping to see it first hand this fall. I think it would be interesting to see Andrew at tight end for Massillon next year. That way Dailey and Gamble would rarely leave the field. Dailey also has a couple of the most important things going for him that you cannot teach a linebacker: size, speed, and frame. I would also rate Dailey a four at this point out of five. He has the potential to be an absolute monster next season though.

From the ND site............Coach Stacy is interviewed. Dailey does not have any offers at this point. Dailey attended ND's junior day and he also attended tOSU's BB game this past weekend vs Michigan State. Florida State, Miami, Kansas, Georgia Tech, Iowa, and Boston College are sending mail.

By Bill Greene...Andrew talks about ND and OSU. ND is recruiting him as a safety. He was at ND for their Junior Day and at OSU for the MSU game.

It seems as though this race will be very tight...he likes the academics at ND but also likes the atmosphere at OSU.

Thats interesting. Dailey will be a LB at the next level, thus, his coach is moving him to LB next season, so obviously ND would be recruiting him as a safety???

Well as of the first post in the thread he was already 212. A 220 lb. safety is big and that would just be crazy if he would only gain 8 lbs. by the time he reached college.

I honestly think that if we get the offer to him early enough that, with the help of his teammate, they will both be buckeyes.

They were both invited to the Texas game and both were invited to the junior day last weekend.

Wonder how long till Wad starts drinking that kool-aid.

By Mike Wachsman...Andrew talks about his favorites (OSU and ND). He sees himself most likely as an OLB at the next level. He will camp in Columbus at the Nike camp on May 5th.
