tOSU and MSU are staying in contact with Dewey as he has enrolled at Harmony Prep.

Don't want to be off-topic in terms of Elliot, but a question regarding prep schools and qualification. How do you figure in prep school grades in terms of a prospect's cumulative GPA? Is it viewed as a separate issue from high school or is it figured into a combined GPA? My point is, it is really tough to raise a cumulative GPA, if that is an issue, in one year. On the other hand, if the test score is raised, that would decrease the need for a higher GPA using the NCAA scale. Finally, that might get you past the Clearinghouse, but tOSU admissions? Not so sure about that. As a side note, this is exactly why Dantonio is sitting in a good spot at MSU in terms of admissions "flexibility."

Dewey is a great linebacker, but he would have to be something special to be a part of next years linebacker class...

Torrence, Beachum, Staples, Hale, etc. are all great prospects that we have a great shot at...

JMHO.

Good call on the Linebacker class....lol

I love recruiting for this reason....not only did none of those guys end up at OSU, but two were recruited as RB, one a DE, and the other might end up a big safety.

And two of them probably aren't ever going to play a down of division 1 college football, what a shame...
