'07 OH RB Morgan Williams (Toledo walk-on)

Prop 48 is misleading here...Prop 16 is the NCAA eligibility model.

Canton

McKinley pair to sign
McKinley has two players signing Division I letters, but they will have to sit out a year and pay their own way as freshmen. Disi Alexander and Morgan Williams will go to Toledo as Proposition 48 student-athletes. If they make the grade as freshmen, they will be put on full scholarships.
?Disi has a tremendous amount of raw athleticism,? McKinley head coach Brian Cross said. ?He can run and jump and he hits. He has all those things. He had a pretty good football awareness, too. It?s a good opportunity for him to get exposed to another part of the state. That experience should be good for him as a student and an athlete.
?I don?t think (Williams has) fully developed as a football player because he?s shared time with basketball. He hasn?t gotten fully into the weight room and hit the weights. There is a great amount of football ahead of him, and the best football is ahead of him.?

Anyone know what happened with Williams and going to Toledo? I was on scout.com and was reading a thread and someone mentioned they had Morgan Williams(i assume its this same Williams) then i went and checked Toledo's roster and he's not on it. I was just curious if anyone knew what happened?

Morgan Williams, a former two-time Ohio Division I player of the year at running back, is academically eligible after sitting out last season. Williams had tremendous numbers his final two seasons at Canton McKinley, with at least 2,400 yards rushing and 31 touchdowns each year.

"Morgan Williams is ready to go," Amstutz said. "That's going to be a guy that no one knows about in our league. He was an outstanding high school player at Canton McKinley. He's eligible and ready to play."
