Height: 6-foot-2
Weight: 190 lbs
Forty: 4.45 secs
2005 stats: 89 tackles, 8 INT
2006 stats: 122 tackles, 7 INT
Honors: Rivals Class of 2008 100 to Watch, Rivals Junior All-American 1st Team, Scout Hot 100 (as a CB)

Interested in: Auburn, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon, Southern Cal, UCLA, Washington, Washington State... with offers from all at the moment except for Auburn, Michigan and Ohio State.

BG$
Former teammate of current Ohio State LB Mark Johnson and has talked extensively with him about playing at Ohio State together.

Things could pick up with Moore if an offer comes his way. I think the staff may want to see how the McCarthy situation plays first, but Rahim seems like a major player at Free Safety... especially if Clifford does end up at CB. One to watch out for in '08, but with offers from locals such as USC and UCLA, he could be a tough one to get from out west, dispite his apparent affinity for Ohio State.

I read the update on one of the recruiting sites earlier and wondered why there was nothing posted in his thread. Turns out he didn't have one. :p Definitely wouldn't mind throwing him in the class if things worked out that way.

Well... now he does... :)

FWIW, the reason LJB moved this thread here is that the BPRT discussed several prospects lately, including Moore, and decided a thread was not needed because the chances of him getting an offer seem remote at this point. We will continue to monitor Rahim, but for now this thread will remain here.

It's Heating Up
Some of the top high school juniors are scheduled to show up at USC tomorrow. One who might be there is Dorsey wide receiver/cornerback Rahim Moore.
We only mention him because word around town is that UCLA believes it might receive his commitment soon.
A UCLA official said this week that relations between the two programs are deteriorating for reasons we will detail later. At the very least, it should make recruiting more interesting.

Moore is still committed to UCLA, but is scheduling official visits. He will see Michigan on 9/21 and Georgia on 9/28. tOSU has offered verbally and will be his last official visit. Mark Johnson is a former teammate, and is trying to get Rahim to come to Columbus to play.
