Scout Evaluation said:
He plays left guard for his high school team and projects as an interior lineman at the next level. Washington fires well off the ball for a big man. He is quick, nimble and shows light feet for a 300 plus pounder. Washington is an excellent run blocker who plays low and has a great lower base. He is athletic, powerful, agile and surprisingly quick.

Scout Bio said:
One of the state's top offensive line prospects, Washington is a two-time All-State pick. He also plays basketball and does track.

discusses all the Miami Northwestern kids going to college together

Group sticks together
BY SHANDEL RICHARDSON | South Florida Sun-Sentinel
December 6, 2007

The future is all UM fans can think about. Forston and Harris headline the six Northwestern players who have orally committed to the Hurricanes. The others are lineman Brandon Washington, linebacker Sean Spence and receivers Aldarius Johnson and Kendal Thompkins.

They decided during the summer to attend the same college, only accepting interest from those willing to recruit the group. Nearly all have known each other since youth league and grew up within a few blocks of the school.

On a side note here.... and I know I bring this board up a lot but.. on GatorSportsForum.com their resident insider GulfCoastGator says that QB Jacory Harris is the one holding this group together, but he's rumored to not be so solid and is looking around, mainly at Oregon. If Harris does indeed leave Miami, there could be a mass exodus of these MNW guys. Also, I'd say Aldarius Johnson is just as much a headliner as Harris... Johnson will be a tremendous WR at the college level.

I'd love to see some action with Washington here soon, but it all really is a moot point as I feel Josh Jenkins is a part of this class, from what I've read, and we'd be done of the OL with him.
