From CaneSport...says other schools are recruiting him harder than the Canes. Has visited Oregon and BC and will visit USF and South Carolina next month. No word on who will get the final official.

Back when Truesdell was getting some mention on the board, and I heard this name I liked him over Truesdell, and that is why I was slow to go think that we should go after Truesdell...

I think with an offer, we have a pretty decent shot here, and this is one that while it is just kinda gravy on top of an already great group of receivers, his height and ability to go along with the others is going to make us that much more dangerous...

Think he might be brought in as a receiving TE, or maybe an H-Back prospect?

Seems to have a pretty solid frame that could easily hold 250 pounds. Might be a little tall, but that's just more mismatches if you ask me.

If Stoneburner, at the same height and 23 pounds heavier than Streeter, isn't being converted to TE, then I'd say the chances of Streeter moving to TE are not much.

I was just throwing out the possibility. Stoneburner could also be significantly faster and a better WR than Streeter. I honestly don't know and was just throwing out the possibility.

Dude, are you serious?!?! He's from the south, there's not even a chance he could be faster than Streeter!! :wink2:

Seriously though, I watched him play against Soutlake Carroll and he is very impressive. Very fluent and good hands. I just don't see which WR we have coming in already he could beat out.

Streeter Hears From Gillespie
By Phil Kornblut

WR Tommy Streeter (6-5 200) of Miami talked with his USC recruiter Robert Gillespie on Christmas Day. "It was just a holiday call," Streeter said. He will make official visits to South Florida January 11th and USC January 18th. He has visited Boston College and is looking at Oregon and Connecticut for possible visits. Streeter said he has no favorite. He hinted he might be ready to make a decision after the USC visit. "I'll be close but I don't know if I'll be 100%," he said. Streeter's Northwestern High School team was named the #1 team in the country in the final USA Today ranking of high school teams.

I have watched this kid play 2 times on TV .Once against south lake Carroll and in the Florida champ game .This kid just stood way out in both games .I really wish we would put the full court press on him .I think from what i read about him he would leave Fla he is a stud. But I'm not sure if we are even recruiting him.

Did as well and totally agree on all counts.
I have heard that they (coaches) are w/ a significant push. I want him in!! Another, w/Stoney, nice big target for TP.
