We all know Pryor is the top target at QB, but this kid loves OSU and put on a great show at the Purdue NIKE camp...and is putting together a solid offer sheet, so a thread is probably warranted.

By BK...talks about OSU's camp. The staff wants to see his transcripts and first two games on film before deciding.

Still think it's Pryor or no one at QB this year...

Most kids who are just fishing for offers have a list of schools they would like offers from...Gray has maintained a high interest in Ohio State since he started being recruited to play football in college (mainly because he says he grew up a huge fan of the Buckeyes).

Has accepted an invitation to play in the US Army All-American game. Says he favors Minnesota, Oregon and Michigan State (all offered).

EA Sports invites Indiana QB

MarQueis
Gray of Ben Davis is one of 12 players from across the nation who have been invited to the 2007 EA Sports Elite 11 quarterback "campetition," organizers from Student Sports magazine announced Tuesday.A combination camp and competition, the event will be July 23-26 at Aliso Viejo, Calif., and is designed to give a group of the nation's top high school quarterbacks direction from some of top players at higher levels.
Giants coach Mike Kirschner said Gray will decline the invitation because an Indiana High School Athletic Association rule does not allow fall sport athletes to attend camps the week of July 22-28.
A 6-4, 205-pounder, Gray completed 73-of-140 passes for 1,113 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior despite missing two games with an injury in a 9-4 season. The dual threat also rushed for 603 yards and seven touchdowns.
"It makes me feel good to know that I was invited," said Gray, who joins former Ben Davis star James Banks and ex-McCutcheon standout Clayton Richard as Indiana invitees to the ninth annual event. Banks also could not attend because of the date conflict.
Gray remains undecided about his college choice, but he said his top choices at this time are Michigan State, Minnesota and Oregon.

Giants rally on Falcons | IndyStar.com

The Ben Davis football team got little consistency on offense and defense in Friday's season opener at Perry Meridian.

Fortunately for the Giants, their return game and a few big plays were enough to overcome their struggles, as they rallied from a big deficit to pull out a wild 46-37 win.

The Giants got two huge second-half returns to get back into the game and assume control. Senior LaVarus Williams gave the Giants a 32-31 lead with his 62-yard punt return for a touchdown with 2:20 left in the third quarter.

Ben Davis also had some discipline-related issues; Kirschner benched senior quarterback MarQueis Gray for the opening series.
