Detroit's Fred Smith always No. 1
By Jeremy Crabtree, Rivals.com

"I'm not sure I'm a Michigan lock, but I like Michigan," he said. "I'm going to take my time and go on some visits. My mom and dad don't want me to rush. I like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, and I also like Florida. I have offers from Michigan, Michigan State, Toledo and Bowling Green.

"But my mom (Teresa Smith) loves Michigan. She's told me I was going to go to Michigan since the seventh grade. I was just worried about what high school I was going to, but she was telling me about how I was going to go to Michigan."

Don't know if he infact made it to the game or not but if he did 75,000 fans had to make a hell of a good impression with him and other recruits as well. Great showing by the fans.:)

He did not...

It will be interesting to see if this changes Fred's thinking. He was said to be very close to committing to UM, but maybe this will have an effect.
I'm sure a quick look of NFL rosters would reveal that folks like Braylon Edwards from TSUN are there as well. Seems like he would make a decision based upon something more substantial than that considering that both schools place plenty of talent in the NFL.

I should have clarified my point. It was not about the NFL, but rather about him receiving an OSU offer that may change things.

Comparing UM's NFL receivers to OSU's is not even a comparison....
Galloway, Glenn, Boston, Jenkins, Ginn, Gonzalez, Holmes vs
Terrell and Edwards
