    2006 Defensive Stats:

Stanford, Northwestern, Cincinnati are after him, only has a Ball St. offer at the moment. Often overlooked on Piquas state champ team but a better ath than his brother Pete. At 6' 4" played weakside lb and capable of game changing plays. His role next year will substantially increase with the loss of the bulk of Piquas d.

We appreciate the thread...often we wait until there is mutual interest between the student-athlete and OSU, but we also like to promote Ohio kids. In the future, please try and follow the format for starting a thread that we use or PM one of the members of the BPRT and we will be happy to start a thread for you. Any more mreasurables or stats you could provide would be a big help.

  3. Not that it helps much, but Piqua lists him at 6-3 212. He had 12 catches for 184 yards and 4 TDs (I am unsure whether this is regular season or regular season + playoffs, but probably the former).

He has offers from Eastern Michigan, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Air Force, and Ball St. Nebraska, Stanford, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, and Utah have been the most active in recruiting him without an offer yet though. News from the coach Nees at Piqua is that David lowered his 40 time to 4.49 at the end of summer workouts, so once that gets around maybe he'll have more to choose from.

Add Vanderbilt to the list of offers for Rolf. Michigan St., Utah, and Colorado supposedly are close to extending offers as well.

After an official to Vandy last weekend, Rolf is headed to Utah this weekend. Coach Gray from Oregon offered yesterday and Rolf is headed out to Oregon the following weekend. Mich. St. has come into the fray as well.

Rolf cancels Utah trip to go on an official Mich. St. this weekend. Coach Dantonio offered last night. Rolf still has his trip to Oregon the following weekend.

Glad to hear it. I lived in Piqua up until I was 13 (Which was in 2005), and I met David. He's a good kid, was quiet then, but very good, it was obvious even then.
