.....Ol' Wade is looking for a raise. Back to Beachum.

What so he can give the refs a little more to call some more fouls...

As for Beachum I feel the same that when he gets his offer he will pull the trigger, I don't believe he has metioned anything about taking visits and he has said how much he loves the Bucks and coach Tress...

Reminds me of the recruitment of Homan...Received an offer a couple days after signing day took a couple days to decide and then verbaled to Ohio State...

Writeup about scoutingohio.com, with a bit on Beachum...

Soon after that, Lock Beachum met Mark Porter, who offered to compile the [sophomore] highlight tape [of Beachum at Poland] for free and put it on his Web site, www.ScoutingOhio.com, for college coaches to view. Soon after that, one of the assistants for Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops watched Beachum's tape.

"He told Bob, 'This is one of the best sophomore tapes I've ever seen,'" said Lock, whose son transferred to Cardinal Mooney after his sophomore year. "Bob watched it and, right after that, Oklahoma offered him a scholarship."

Film Courtesy of ScoutingOhio.

Fine athlete. Good straightline speed and fluid lateral movements. Good tackler and quick to get to the ball. Brandon's frame is still very much like that of a DB. With time, he will grow into a LBer with perhaps a little more ferocity and presence. Worth of an offer at WLB or even SS.

I'm starting to wonder how long we'll wait to offer BB. He is a strong tOSU lean (per his own words), but I'd hate to miss out on him because we think we can hold out on him forever. He IMO is too good/versatile an athlete to pass on in this class.

Is Beachum really one of the best 15 kids "on the board"? Remember, with limited scholarships, an offer pending to a similar local player (RB/LB Devoe Torrence), and emphasis on recruiting "power" players, where does Beachum fit into this class?

Offers out to Shayne Hale, Devoe Torrence, Andrew Sweat, and a handful of other linebackers searching for offers. I wouldn't gaurantee Beachum even receives an offer. Especially this early.

I'm pulling for him, but I think he'll have to wait til summer to receive an offer.

I will reiterate what Bill Greene said recently...every site reported that there was word that Brandon would be getting an offer soon. Too much smoke for there not to be any fire. I think he gets his offer sooner rather than later. Find a position for him and Devoe when they get on campus.
