I was extremely impressed with Beachum in Pittsburgh. His athleticism and versatility was undeniable. He was excellent as a LB, but also very elusive as a RB & WR. His recruitment will be the most painful if we cannot find room for him down the road.

Per Jeremy Crabtree on Rivals Radio...in his opinion, Beachum compares to DeVoe Torrence b/c both are RB w/ similar running styles and both can play defense. Per JC, the staff thought DeVoe was a more lucrative Rb prospect than Beachum.

JC said Brandon could still receive an offer from tOSU, but as a defensive player (I know, I know - SPEED, not defensive player) given Torrence's offer/acceptance as the sole true RB in the class.

Based on the film I have seen on both, I think their running styles are north-south-ish hence why Crabby made the comparison, but to me they look slightly different running the ball. Hard to explain...

I think Devoe has the bigger frame and is more explosive personally... I worry that Brandon has maxed out his frame... That's why I like Torrence better as a prospect at both RB and LB...
I like Brandon a lot, just think that RB may be his best position, which doesn't really fit with this class unfortunately...

This kid has good talent. To bad we havent offered him.:(

There are thousands of kids out there who have talent that we haven't offered yet. Give it time. If he is worthy of an OSU offer, he'll get it in time. It's June and besides that, it's not a good year for ships (like 16 maybe). Beachum's recruitment is far from over.
