By Bill Greene...Taylor is being recruited by Akron, Boston College, Iowa, Michigan, Syracuse and West Virginia. Taylor talks about his strengths and what will factor into his college decision.

One of the most interesting sleeper prospects in the state next year IMO.

I think we could easily see him grown into an outside backer if he could keep his speed or add enough weight in a college program and become a force coming off the edge...

I just watched some film on Taylor and I was very impressed.

It would not shock me to see him get an offer.

FWIW his 40 time on that site is listed at 4.6.

EDIT: "that site" is scoutingohio.com

IMO he is probably the most impressive on film from the Mooney guys that I have seen...

The thing is at 6'2 195 he is a tweener DE/LB...But the thing is he is a football player and will make some program, just don't think it will be here unless he shows very well at camp...Kinda reminds me of a smaller Vincent Browne from this year...

Very impressive video. He is a great pass rusher. I liked his motor, athleticism, and he is a smart player. He always stays home well while being aggressive at the same time...plus I loved watching him run down the field and getting in on the tackle when he could have just stopped. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment takes shape.

Tressel is at Mooney today. Weis was there wednesday. Weis is only after McCarthy, while Tressel wants McCarthy and Zordich. As for Hill, this kid has all the tools with great upside, but is a tweener right now but still may get an OSU offer.

Other years, Maybe...This year, probably not...

crazy... I hear ya, limited schollies will do Hill in. I still say, after seeing the Mooney "four" since their sophomore year, that this kid could be the best of them all down the road and that is saying something because the other three are great players who always make a play when needed.
