Have they lost faith in Pryor? That would make things interesting.

It's not like WVU just recently offered Britt...according to Dom WVU offered him back in April so that offer has been on the table for a while. Reading a little too much into the situation I think...

Interesting - guess he may have felt the hurdles to overcome were too high - there are two other incoming QBs in the '08 class, plus a raft of them already on roster with eligibility throughout the next few years. UC could have been looking at having as many as 8 QBs on scholarship before Britt reopened his recruiting.

By Crabtree...de-committing from UC beacuse he is uncomfortable with the QB situation, according to his coach. Visiting Pitt on 1/11. May visit Hampton and Jackson State as well.

The Cincinnati Post - Recruit backs out of commitment

The race to become the University of Cincinnati's starting quarterback next year decreased by one Tuesday.

Domonick Britt, a Trotwood-Madison product who committed to the Bearcats in June, told scout.com he had reopened his recruitment.

"I was just not feeling the love from them anymore," Britt told the Web site. "There were a ton of schools coming up to the school to visit with Coach (Maurice) Douglass about me, but I did not hear that much at all from UC. They were not really sending me as many texts or calling me like some of these other schools."

Of all the teams to consider, I was surprise to hear Pitt's name mentioned, just because they already have 2 prep and 1 JUCO QB committed in this class...
