By Bill Greene...Mississippi, Illinois, Penn State, Notre Dame and Ohio State are on Devoe's list. He says he is now open to the idea of going somewhere other than OSU to carve out his own niche but still remains very interested in OSU.

I know people are giddy about the possibilities of landing guys like Shayne Hale and others, but I don't think there is a better linebacker prospect in the country than Torrence.

And I don't wanna hear any prescott burgess comparisons. Torrence has the prefect mentality to be a linebacker. He is not afraid to smash a lineman in the mouth trying to tackle a player, and really plays downhill. Not to mention the fact that I really dont think there is a more athletic linebacker prospect in either the 2006, or 2007 class, but thats debateable. Just my 2 cents..

problem is he prefers to play RB not LB in college.
