'08 OH WR Trey Fairchild (Syracuse signee; transfer to EKU; transfer to Otterbein)

He would like too, but our coaching staff does not play kids on both sides of the ball, so he only plays offense.

Is this something that can be changed, or too much respect for the coaches to ask/too much depth at the school to happen? I would think if a guy could be a top-notch DB, don't limit him just because he is a great WR. Will it make a difference in Trey's case? Scholly wise? Just curious.

MSU fan here. Just wondering how interested MSU appears at this time. Earlier on, we were listed on Trey's Rivals.com Profile...but thats not the case anymore. This kid can be so darn fast and quick, would love to have him in the Green and White.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if MSU is in the running for his services at this time. Thanks!

Zo - they just contacted him again this week after a long time on not hearing from them, letting him know about spring practice and summer camp.

Trey's video is one of the top 2 or 3 videos I've seen of this 2008 recruiting season. He reminds me a LOT of Santonio Holmes. Very quick, jukes you outta your shoes, catches well, breaks tackles, has breakaway speed in open space, AND he returns kicks. He's gonna be a special one at the next level.

Put me on the Fairchild bandwagon. If some of our WR prospects fall through, I'd love to see Trey in S&G.
