'08 OH WR Trey Fairchild (Syracuse signee; transfer to EKU; transfer to Otterbein)

I like to see kids from Dublin not listing Notre Ame.
ive beat the quinn horse so many times i wont even reply. nedu is another issue but one noone brings up.

dublin has produced a lot of talent and seems to fly under the radar as of late, due mostly to the fact it has three very small d1 schools. (dont knwo the exact numbers but 1400ish for each) its hard to overlook the talent dublin has produced with kids all over the country (northwestern, air force, virginia tech etc) the kids tend to bleed scarlet and gray (enter the brady quinn comments and reply about his chicago background and always being an nd kid.)

any way you slice it, im always happy to see the local kids get exposures, and oppurtunities from the school they grew up in the shadow of the goal posts...

oh yeah and ive seen trey play in person. plays a smart game, with what ken hitchcock calls "competitive composure"

best of luck to trey and the fairchild family...

Would also like to extend a warm welcome to "dad."

Please, Mr. Fairchild, stop in often and keep us updated. Your boy looks like a real handfull. His "Straight 6" was one of the best I ever read. We'd love to have him here. Looks like you raised a good one. Best of luck to Trey on a great Senior season. Hope he enjoys the recruiting process (but ends up here:biggrin: ). Peace.
