'08 WV OL Josh Jenkins (West Virginia Signee)

Jenkins has every physical tool but he has not faced the same level of competition as the others. WV football is not strong overall.

Why is Brewster easily #1? I'm curious as to your assessment and criteria.

Reports from the AA combine said that Brewster was dominant and will be the #1 center for next year.

Reports are that he could be the #1 center. I am giving you my opinion of where I think Jenkins could be ranked, which will likely be at guard or tackle. At least if you are going to pimp someone else's thoughts, give them credit.

How about this...

The Block O (Adams, Shugarts, Brewster, and Long) for 0-line.

Then Jenkins and Rowell for the D-line.

That would just be amazing. I know it is not going to happen, but we have a great great shot at 5 of the 6 and the one guy that is really going to take some work is Jenkins.

That is a far cry from your claim of "easily" #1.

From all reports, Jenkins has been dominant at numerous combines including San Antonio this year.

I'd be pretty happy with an O-Line of: LT Adams LG Jenkins C Browning RG Brewster RT Long... I'd rather have Jenkins than Shugarts actually... Then add Zebrie Sanders for some T depth... Mmmm, tasty...

I like this better LT Adams LG Jenkins C Brewster RG C. Smith RT. Long... Then Sanders and Browning for some depth... can I biggie size that combo meal.

I like Jenkins at guard too but keep in mind he could also be a terror at DT. 82 tackles on defense as a sophmore. More than likely he ends up on offense though. Another reason for the lack of an offer might also be because he has not taken a test yet...he does have a 3.5 GPA but has not recorded an SAT score yet.

I agree with the other 3/4 olineman we could be bringing in he would be viable canidate to move to the other side of the ball...

goes to Vinston Painter. Great looking prospect.

Where is he from? Also, while WV doesn't have great competition for football, Pakersburg does play the toughest teams in the state and usually are a power within West Virginia.
