'09 AZ DE Devon Kennard (USC Signee)

Kennard put out a presser that he will make his decision on Tuesday morning at 7:45 in front of local media. He turned down the option to air it on ESPN. I'll keep anyone interested updated on Tuesday as to where he goes.

Committed to USC.

And the rich get richer...

No kidding. This was a pretty aggravating recruiting process for Sun Devil fans. Kennard was flip flopping on his level of interest with ASU and wouldn't give either the Scout or Rivals ASU websites an interview, but he would give interviews to TX, Cal and SUC. Kept saying ASU was in it, but wouldn't take an official visit or give Erickson an in-home. Said ASU got in the process "late," which is BS because ASU was on him for years and way longer than Cal or TX. He didn't even mention ASU or their coaches after his decision was made and made sure he mentioned Cal and TX and how great their schools and staff are.

Yes I'm bitter even though I was pretty sure he wasn't going to choose ASU. I'm more bitter over the way he treated my Sun Devils.

Feel free to lay it on me that Kennard has no obligation to ASU or its fans. It's not going to change my opinion.

Kennard, a senior from Arizona, was scheduled to start opposite senior Wes Horton. If Kennard is sidelined, it would leave the Trojans even thinner on a defensive line that lacks depth and experience.

ESPNLosAngeles.com, citing an unnamed source close to Kennard, first reported Kennard's situation Thursday night. Kennard suffered the injury lifting weights, the report said.
Kennard did not respond to a text message seeking comment late Thursday night. On his Twitter feed he posted: "Appreciate all the love and prayers... Don't worry about me too much, I was born to #FightOn after all"
Kennard was looking forward to his senior season after playing end and linebacker as a freshman, middle linebacker as a sophomore and end as a junior. CONT...
