'09 FL ATH Andre Debose (Florida Signee)

So next year Florida has: Demps, Rainey, Thompson, Harvin, and Debose.

Throw in Tebow and It just doesn't even seem fair. I hope Oklahoma an pull it off on Thursday because I can't see anyone stopping Florida next year, just too fast (as annoying as the Florida speed stuff is).

They won't return Harvin.

Percy Harvin, Aaron Hernandez (TE), Louis Murphy, and Tim Tebow is that entire offense.

For as much as they get praise for having great speed and players like Jeff Demps, Chris Rainey, and Deonte Thompson are mentioned, the only players that really do anything of importance in that offense are the affromentioned four, and three of them (Murphy, Tebow, Hernandez) aren't really that fast.

Tebow is the cog that makes that machine run, but Harvin is definitely a jolt of electricity, and without him I don't think that Florida will repeat. I was at that National Championship game, and let me tell you, when Florida needed a big play or a first down, they put the ball in two guys hands- Tebow's and Harvin's, and both came up big.

I just don't see Demps, Rainey, or Thompson in the same light as Harvin. I don't think any of them are even close actually.

I still think they'll win it all. Percy is all but impossible to replace but the Gators probably have the best combination of talent and experience in the country. Debose looks like he mightbe a good Harvin replacement but not this year.

I think Demps, Dubose, Rainey and Thompson will all play vital roles in that offense. Percy HArvin was just so versatile that all of those guys will be needed to replace him. Their offense will be fine and continue to rollover a lot of very good teams. These 4 kids can fly and UF will still be exciting this year.

Florida's Andre Debose allegedly pushed through window

Last week Florida wide receiver Andre Debose was granted a sixth year of eligiblity by the NCAA after missing the entire 2013 season with a torn ACL. On Saturday night Debose was lucky he wasn't more seriously injured after he was allegedly pushed through a window.

According to a statement from the Gainesville Police, Debose was in a house with three others when he got into an altercation with another person, Victor Watkins. During the argument Watkins reportedly pushing Debose through a window. DeBose was uninjured.

The situation then escalated when John Honeycutt became angry with Watkins for pushing Debose through the window. Here's what the police statement says happened next.

This angered Honeycutt who retrieved a handgun and threatened Watkins with it. However, Watkins immediately took the handgun from Honeycutt and then discharged several rounds into the ground outside the house.
Honeycutt now retrieved the rifle and fired several rounds into Watkins's SUV and into the ground in front of the house. All parties were transported to CID where GPD detectives conducted interviews. After an extensive investigation, detectives arrested Honeycutt for Aggravated Assault. All other parties were released.

So, you know, just another Saturday night with friends.
