'09 FL SG Kenny Boynton (Florida Verbal)

kenny is a no-frills point guard. he has a deft touch and does not dribble too much. at the elite 24 classic, he approached the game in a workman fashion. he likes to break down the defender to open the arc. his form is solid but not ideal. it gets the job done, however. he is more quick than fast. kenny is more of a 12- to 24-foot player than a rim-attacking player. excellent defender and a thinker.

Boynton is listined Cincinnati, Florida, Duke, Ohio State, Texas, Connecticut, Miami, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Louisville and Wake Forest as his top schools at this point but claims to be wide open. Key factors in his decision will be the relationship with the staff, playing time and enviroment.

Kenny Boynton, SG, American Heritage (Fla.)

After fouling out and scoring just 13 points (the lowest scoring output he has had all year), Boynton closed out as strong as anyone in the City of Palms history. In fact, it was a record-breaking performance for the South Florida native over the course of four games.
