Brown is considered the #18 prospect in the nation according to Rivals.com. Ohio State is high on his list and is showing strong interest.

Also listing Alabama, UConn, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Virginia and Wake Forest.

I am going to assume the pecking order for '09 PGs goes: Wall, Strickland, Brown?

  10. I don't think that we are looking at a pecking order for PG, but more just backcourt guy in general...

And I would say that Strickland is the #1 target with guys that we have a good shot at...

It doesn't seem like any of those 3 are exactly TRUE points, except maybe Wall, but I would tend to agree with you. Now that Cheek is gone, he maye have been our true #1 target in the backcourt, or maybe 1a and Wall being 1b. But as far as PGs go, for '09 we'll have Crater and Hill on roster, with Offut being more of the Butler-type and being maybe more of a 2 in a PG's body, but he's learning. I would have to think Sidney, overall, is the #1 target, and by all accounts, he wants to be in Columbus.

  12. Yep I agree with all said...At this point I think that Strickland is our best chance for a backcourt guy, not sure if we hvae much of a shot at Wall, or brwon...

I do agree with Sidney being the number 1 target...

I think PG will be fine until the 10' class where I would love to land Golden and you would have to think that with his dad being an alumni and the guys we will be brining in in that class, that would give us a great shot with him...

i would be surprised if strickland leaves izzo's clutches. i don't think the need for a point guard is all that pressing for '09, though. '10? yes.

Florida, UConn, LSU and NC State have offered. He is hearing from Memphis, Ohio State and Miami. Brown likes Memphis and NC State is recruiting him hard.

NC State, Miami, Florida and Auburn are recruiting him the "hardest" at this point. Lists no favorites.
