Brother of '08 recruit Arthur Brown and, like his brother, likley the top rated player in the Midlands in his class.

By Greg Powers...has over 50 offers, including the likes of Oklahoma, USC, UCLA, Florida, Ohio State, Kansas State and North Carolina. Talks about the system he and his brother use for analyzing schools.

He is fairly amazing to watch, as is his brother. His team was upset recently (by my own totally sub-par high school) and he fumbled in the area of 5 times. Still a trememdous talent, but as stated above likely a token thread.

Stud...I watched Bryce play on ESPNU and he is amazing. Gets upfield in a hurry, excellent vision, stong, and breakaway speed. I doubt we get him but a great prospect nontheless.

Does he actually have an offer from us?

I'm glad to be apart of this message board and just give my 2 cents.
I think he's top 3 in the 2009 class, but I highly doubt he or his brother are looking at OSU. And we don't really need him with Torrence coming in, and already having "Boom" and "Zoom"!

Bryce Brown ponders future outside Kansas
BY JEFFREY LUTZ
The Wichita Eagle

Now that we know Arthur Brown is headed to Miami, the question becomes what happens to All-State running back Bryce Brown, who has one season left at East.

The two-time Top 11 performer is eager to start his own recruiting process, but the Brown family isn't quite sure where the younger brother will be playing next season.

Past speculation had the Brown family moving to wherever Arthur was going, but that might not be the case.

The decision appears to lie in the hands of Arthur Brown Sr.

"We have not (decided)," he said. "My wife and I will sit down and talk. Ideally, we would love for Bryce to finish out his senior year here in Kansas at East High."

Bryce isn't so sure.

"That's my dad's plan, not necessarily mine," Bryce Brown said of the idea of staying in Wichita. "I haven't really thought about it, but I've talked to him about it and he asked my opinion.

"I said, 'I'd like to see what it's like to play somewhere else.' They say Kansas isn't that well-known for football, so I'd like to go somewhere and show them that I can ball anywhere."

Ted Ginn Sr should give him a call...I hear Ohio football and Glennville Academy are pretty good...:tongue2: Who knows...maybe OSU gets a serious look then:biggrin:

If they relocated anywhere, I'd guess it would be closer to Florida so his parents and family could watch his brother play more frequently. There's some good football down there as well unfortunately.

By Greg Powers...talks about his style of play and watching his brother Arthur (Miami verbal) go through the process. Admits he has narrowed his list already a bit but does not discuss who has made the cut.
