He was a lean to UM because of Coach Carr...he hasn't even met the new staff yet (at least not according to that last update)...

By Bill Greene...still expecting offers from OSU and UM on NLOID and Illinois has begun recruiting him. Talks about how the coaching change at UM has affected his feelings about UM and how OSU now has a slight edge.

Reminds me a little bit of Donnie Nickey when he was a junior in high school...similar size, similar freakish atheliticism, similar freakish speed for that size. Both were around 6-3 and 200 lbs., ran around a 4.4 or 4.5 and played RB and DB in high school. WHile I've seen film of Turner, I just remember seeing Nicky live and there are certain parts of their game that are very similar. I don't really know how else to describe it other than that...

SNIPER, UM is recruiting him as an ATH while OSU is recruiting him as a FS...

That is a good comparison...

Anytime you get a kid like this with that athleticism, he is in the mold of a big time safety...

He could always turn out to be a WR too, if he shows he needs the ball in his hands but right now he looks like a safety...

With the big number of schollies next year, I really hope we can just nail Ohio down. Out of all the big names out there, Turner was the only one I'm worried about, so this is good news.

A long time ago Barnett was my major worry in-state...obviously that situation changed in a big hurry. Turner is now the kid in-state that I really want that could be a flight risk...hopefully the news we have heard about the tide changing since the new regime took over in A2 proves to be accurate. Sounds like Turner won't be draggin this decision out much past the fall.

I agree...But I think Fellows is right up there as well...
