'09 OH LB/FB Mike Marrow (Alabama signee - transfer to E. Michigan)

They are not the same physically...maybe similar measurables but that only means so much. Two guys who are 6-2 210 lbs. and run a 4.5 may look the same on paper and nothing alike in person, in film and on the field. Mike is probably not a legit candidate for an offer at LB and is getting his looks from OSU as a fullback. Homan and Studlien are more similar in size and stature, but Homan is being looked at as a possible fullback while Studlien is being looked at strictly as a LB.

I'd be very surprised if he ends up anywhere but Penn St.

Well that is great to hear, I like his willingness to play RB, FB - really wherever he has to to get on the field early and help whichever school he chooses to attend and play football for. I don't know how he is physically going to mature or what his current weight is...he could even possibly end up on the DL if he is pushing 245-250.

Can anyone give me verified numbers? Height, Weight, 40, Bench, Shuttle, Vertical, or just any general information those of you who may have seen him play and/or live in Ohio know of.

Any information is appreciated, and I would love for Marrow to come to Penn State.

From the Nebraska site...has a written offer from Toledo (father Vince was recently named as assistant coach there). Thinks Nebraska is close to offering and is also hearing from Illinois, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan State and Ohio State. Has transferred to Toledo Central Catholic.

Looking forward to utgrad's prospective on Mike once he starts playing, because he's one of those underrated Ohio guys that is really starting to attract some attention in the recruiting world. I'm sure he'll have a lot to say about him, ala Dane

From BWI...Toledo and Nebraska have offered and his PSU offer is supposedly in the mail. Thinks Illinois and ND are close to offering as well. Also receiving contact from Pitt, Michigan State, Louisville, Wisconsin, Rutgers and Boston College.

From the Nebraska site...Mike's father talks about how during the move to Toledo there was a mix up and Mike has actually had a written offer from Nebraska for a while now. Has offers from PSU, Toledo and Nebraska and has been told Cincinnati and Illinois will be next. Plans to take officials this Fall.
