'09 OK PF/C Daniel Orton (Kentucky Verbal)

Rivals $

Film: You can watch the film for free if you go to basketball recruiting and go to the video box on the right and just click Daniel Orton's video. Very limited clips but you can tell he is dominant. Great moves in the pain, very smooth, and has very nice shot with range. Great size and physically imposing at 6'10 270. I would love to see Orton in this class.

By Kyle Lamb...Orton is in no Hurry...Listed is favorites as Oklahoma, Connecticut, Florida, Kansas and UCLA....Also says tOSU is still involved...

Honestly didn't get a good feeling from this article, being that it was from an Ohio State and an Ohio State reporter...Uncle at Oklahoma and brother played at Okie St...Kinda getting the feeling that he is going to stay in state...

OKLAHOMA CITY

Junior Daniel Orton scored 17 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and had four steals to lead the Oklahoma City Bishop McGuinness Irish to a 50-47 victory over the Ardmore Tigers Tuesday night at the McCarthy Athletic Facility.
Oklahoma's Jeff Capel and Kansas men's coach Bill Self were in attendance to watch the high-touted Orton play, and they got to watch a terrific game as well.

Orton is averaging 15 points and 13 rebounds per game. Kentucky, Kansas, Florida, Ohio State, Oklahoma and UCLA have been in to visit. Ohio State and Florida remain high on his list.
Koufos is likely 1- or at most 2-and-done and Mullens could quite possibly be only here for year. Big men in 2009 are a prioirity... and Orton is a MUST GET in the worst way.

If Buford goes (Junkie's opinion), two bigs and a wing:)

Could very well be, but we will still have Lighty, Diebler, Turner, Offut, and Wallace...Pretty crowded, and then in 10 we would have lost Lighty and bring in Wright and Golden...I would be more than happy with two bigs...But if the right wing wants to come I am all for that as well...

Well, we may not have to look far. Terrelle Pryor may be available if Tress lets him :)
