We will have at least 23 schollies to give next year (22 seniors-to-be plus Terry). Figure in at least 2 transfers, academic casualties, or early draft-goers, we should be sitting at 25 schollies to give. Could be the first full class in a while.

in all fairness Wadc, this was started by a Buckeye fan when he mentioned that the Illini has offered a lot of kids already. Illinibat was just trying to set the record straight thats all.

I am very familiar with IlliniBat's thoughts on OSU sites...he/she has made that clear in a number of different places...not just in this thread.

From the LSU site...Michigan State has offered and Clemson could be close. Talks about his interest in and contact from LSU. Had coaches from Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Rutgers, Connecticut and Florida at his school recently.

"I don't have a top five yet," Je'Ron Stokes said. "I'm taking things slow and focusing on school and track right now. I should have a top five or six by the summer." Stokes attended a couple of Penn State games last season (against Notre Dame and Ohio State) and loved it. "I like the game day experience there," he said. "It's electrifying. It's just a great setting. I also like the coaches..."
