It's probably hard to pull guys out of the South from places like "Frostproof, Florida" and "Itdoesntsnow10incheshere, Florida".

Just saying.

LOL, thats a good one, and quite true. The best we can do is get the kids who are trying to see more than South Florida. Which is still pretty difficult since they pretty much all grew up FSU, UF and/or the U fans. But success can trump that, as we've seen in recent years in pulling some of those kids out of there.

BN $ - Florida Star On OSU: 'I think I'll take an official visit there'

6/30

From IrishSportsDaily.com...plans to take all five officials...has visited Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, South Florida and Central Florida...has visits to ND and Stanford planned...hasn't received the written offer from OSU yet but says he thinks he may use one of his officials to visit Columbus.

It may just be me, but I don't remember so many shorter corners being offered (LJ is the exception to the rule IMO). I thought the staff enjoyed bigger and more physical CB's than the one's we've been recruiting lately.

Besides Winfield and LJ, I can't think of any.. is this a shift in strategy or more of me making to much out of nothing?...:).

Probably much ado about nothing...it just so happens that the elite corners are a bit smaller this season. Given the young, sizeable corners that we have on the roster so far I like how the coaches are mixing it up a bit. But offers to guys like Kacy Rodges tells me that they want talent regardless of size for the corner position.

Talks about taking his parents to Dawg Night and watching cousin Carlton Thomas...says he thought about committing while in Athens but plans to sleep on it...says he might commit earlier than originally planned.

Would be shocked to see him end up anywhere other than UGA...
