Rivals$--Gators remain a favorite for Brown

Mack names the Gators as his leaders but says tOSU could be in his favorites but he hasn't heard from the staff in a while.

Sounds like he's no longer considering Ohio State:

"At one time I cut it down to Florida and Georgia, but now I've opened it up to a top five of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, LSU, and Oklahoma." Brown said.

    Two on top for Brown

Yeah, sounds like the staff got their guy in Roderick Smith and has since cooled on Brown.

I can answer this since I live local.

MLK and many of the urban schools tend to have fantastic players but are often a little under coached. The district he plays in is very top heavy. MLK - Grady - Lithonia - and to a certain extent Bannaker tend to dominate year after year.

To further compare it - Cameron Heyward, another buckeye from Atlanta played in a significantly stronger division.

Read two posts above yours. They cooled on Brown before Smith's verbal.

I thought this guy was pretty much an SEC lean from the getgo?

I think that they cooled on Brown because Rod made it known a long time ago where he was going.
