Tenn

I don't think he's a good fit in a certain spread offenses. He's not a burner but he can get vertical with his size and route running. He's not a guy your gonna throw screens to, but if used right could work at ND and UF. IMO he's a perfect fit for what we do.

Prater is an excellent player, no doubt, but SC hasn't really had a lot of success with players in that mold since signing Jarrett and Davis. Patrick Turner, the #1 WR recruit out of Tenn didn't do anything for them. Hazelton transferred, and Ausberry is looking pretty average. With Brown, Louis and Williams in the fold, we should focus on something other than WR.

In the 1/10/2010 Chicago Tribune there is a story about Prater's next move. He graduated early and was supposed to start classes at USC on 1/11/2010. That early-enroll is most likely not happening ... could be to OSU's advantage (if they want him) that they have the ability to accommodate his desire to enroll early.

Agreed there, I don't see OSU getting involved (though I wouldn't mind being surprised). The staff seems confident about Williams qualifying anyways, so I don't us bringing 2 of the same mold in.
