'10 IL WR Kyle Prater (USC Signee - transfer to Northwestern)

I meant it more as a generalization that he would play on the East Coast probably. I would think right now the teams he is pretty interested in are:

ND
UF
OU
Tenn

We may be able to get into the mix if we offer VERY soon. I would love to him. Especially given the fact Tyrone Williams hey yet to qualify...

Hate to say this but scUM too :(

I don't think he's a good fit in a certain spread offenses. He's not a burner but he can get vertical with his size and route running. He's not a guy your gonna throw screens to, but if used right could work at ND and UF. IMO he's a perfect fit for what we do.

Prater is an excellent player, no doubt, but SC hasn't really had a lot of success with players in that mold since signing Jarrett and Davis. Patrick Turner, the #1 WR recruit out of Tenn didn't do anything for them. Hazelton transferred, and Ausberry is looking pretty average. With Brown, Louis and Williams in the fold, we should focus on something other than WR.

OSU passed on Prater once...for whatever reason. I don't see that changing...look for Florida to get involved in a big way.

Agreed there, I don't see OSU getting involved (though I wouldn't mind being surprised). The staff seems confident about Williams qualifying anyways, so I don't us bringing 2 of the same mold in.
