Coach Specht says James signing with ND had nothing to do with Massa.......:( and James has a great deal of respect for Tressel.

This is actually completely honest. I PM'ed this to a few people...apparently James didn't feel real at home with the players here on his visit and they could sense it. I didn't want to say this publically but since he did, oh well. Oddly enough, I came to the '10 recruiting forum first, hoping I would be wrong. Good luck at ND.

Rumor: Notre Dame OL Matt James in spring break accident?

Just got really sad news..Matt was part of a group down in Panama City and news is kind of sketchy between whether he fell off a balcony or if it collapsed, but the bottom line is he passed away. Still waiting to hear on the status of the rest of his group. Please keep Matt and all those who knew him in your thoughts/prayers.
