DeSales' Nick Kellogg soars over Watterson's Jordan Faulkner for two of his 19 points in the Stallions' Central Catholic League victory.



Nick Kellogg scored 13 of his 19 points in the second quarter and host DeSales used a 24-14 run to take command in beating Watterson 67-54 last night in a Central Catholic League game at Otterbein.

Kellogg scored 29 points in a 92-39 win over East.

DeSales 92, East 39
Nick Kellogg scored 11 of his 29 points in the third quarter as DeSales (18-3) blew open a close game and went on to rout East (3-17) in a Division II sectional at Olentangy.
DeSales led 33-25 late in the first half, but Kellogg made a three-pointer to close the second quarter and then the Stallions outscored East 31-4 in the third quarter and 25-11 in the fourth.

When the sledding gets tough, there's an intrinsic quality in great athletes that allows them to somehow negotiate the hill and finish the ride with a flourish.
DeSales sophomore guard Nick Kellogg already is displaying the kind of stuff legends are made of. And with his lineage, no one is the least bit surprised.
After a shaky start, Kellogg scored 14 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter of a Division II district semifinal as third-seeded DeSales fended off a valiant upset bid by Utica for a 65-55 victory last night in the Ohio Expo Center Coliseum.

Eastmoor had the athleticism to stick with Nick and was able to frustrate & impede his style all night... and the more trouble he had, the more Nick pressed.
